Recycling is the first and third Saturday of the month at the Montague Department of Public Works on 2 Weider Road. HOURS: 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Clean Communities Program

The Montague Clean Communities program has been helping to keep our community clean and green. To help us, please report any litter problem areas to the Clean Communities program director at the Montague town hall at 973-293-7300. If you are involved in a non-profit or civic group and looking to become involved in keeping our community clean, ask about forming a clean-up brigade for an area of the township along with raising funds for your group by sending an email to This email address is being protected from spambots.
