MONTAGUE TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE MEETING
February 26, 2002
Minutes
Mayor Butto called the session to order at 8:10 p.m. and opened the meeting, stating that the meeting was being held in compliance with the Open Meetings Act, P>L> 1975, c. 231, and has been duly advertised.
The Clerk was asked to call the roll.
Present were: Committeewoman Maureen Kaman,
Committeeman Joseph Zitone,
Committeeman Joseph Barbagallo,
Committeeman Mark Krebs, Mayor Joseph Butto
Helen Felter, Clerk, Denis Murphy, Esq.
Absent: None
All present were asked to join in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Approval of Minutes: Regular Session January 22, 2001
Committeeman Krebs made a motion to approve the minutes of
January 22, 2001.
Committeeman Zitone seconded the motion.
The motion was carried by a unanimous roll call vote:
Ayes: Committeewoman Kaman, Committeeman Zitone,
Deputy Mayor Barbagallo, Committeeman Krebs, Mayor Butto

Resolutions
R2002-22 Memorializing the appointment of Judge Devine
R2002-23 Transfer Resolution
R2002-24 Outside Lien Redemptions
Deputy Mayor Barbagallo made a motion to approve the above referenced resolutions.
The motion was seconded by Committeeman Krebs.
The motion was passed by a unanimous roll call vote:

Old Business
Ordinances
Committeewoman Kaman brought to the attention of the Committee some deficiencies she found in the Municipal Code Manual. After a lengthy discussion, the Committee agreed each department head should review the section of the Code that applies to their department and make suggestions as to what they think should be done to improve it.
Plowing of Roads-Community Corporation of High Point
The Committee received a letter from the Community Corporation of High Point in response to a letter sent from the Township advising them that the roads in the Country Club need to be maintained or the Township will not plow them. In the letter, the Country Club asked the Committee what they felt should be done to the roads. The Committee made the suggestion that the Country Club speak to an engineer.
New Business
Industrial & Economic Development Committee letter
The Committee discussed the suggestions put forth in a letter from the Industrial & Economic Development Committee and agreed a copy of it should be given to the Zoning Officer Frank Walsh and also that a meeting should be set up between members of the Committee and the Industrial & Economic Development Committee for a
