MONTAGUE TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE REORGANIZATION MEETING

January 1, 2005

Minutes

Municipal Clerk Helen Felter called the session to order at

2:00 p.m. and opened the meeting, stating that the meeting was being held in compliance with the Open Meetings Act, P>L> 1975, c. 231, and has been duly advertised.

Present: Committeeman Sarocco, Committeeman Zitone

Committeeman Krebs, Committeeman Barbagallo, Committeeman Lashendock

Christopher Welgos, Esq.,Helen Felter, Municipal Clerk

Absent: None

All present were asked to join in the Pledge of Allegiance

Erma Gormley, County Clerk then read the Statement of Determination naming Joseph Lashendock as elected in the election held on November 2, 2004.

Before the start of the meeting, Mrs. Gormley administered the Oath of Office to the newly elected Committeeman Joseph Lashendock, who was elected to a three (3) year term.

Clerk Felter asked if anyone on the Committee would like to place a name in nomination for the position of Mayor for the year 2005.

Committeeman Lashendock nominated Joseph Barbagallo

Committeeman Zitone seconded the motion.

Ayes: Committeeman Krebs, Committeeman Lashendock,

Committeeman Sarocco, Committeeman Zitone

Nays: None

Abstain: Committeeman Barbagallo

Erma Gormley, County Clerk then administered the Oath of the Office of Mayor to Joseph Barbagallo.

Clerk Felter then turned the meeting over to the newly sworn Mayor, Joseph Barbagallo.

Mayor Barbagallo asked for nominations for Deputy Mayor.

Mayor Barbagallo nominated Joseph Zitone as Deputy Mayor for the year 2005.

Committeeman Sarocco seconded the motion.

The motion was passed by a unanimous roll call vote:

Ayes: Committeeman Sarocco, Committeeman Krebs,

Committeeman Lashendock, Mayor Barbagallo

Nays: None

Abstain: Committeeman Zitone

County Clerk Erma Gormley then administered the oath of Deputy Mayor to Joseph Zitone.
